All UM instructors are invited to join our regular workshops and to take advantage of our services, including classroom observations, confidential consultations, and analysis of student evaluations. We also offer a variety of programs specifically for faculty in tenure-track, visiting, and adjunct roles.
Faculty Reading Group
Each year, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning sponsors a Faculty Reading Group. The group meets for lunch three times over the course of the semester to discuss the chosen book. Click here to learn more about the Faculty Reading Group.
Inclusive Teaching Learning Community
Each year, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, in conjunction with the Academic Innovations Group and the Center for Inclusion and Cross Cultural Engagement, facilitates a learning community for a small cohort of instructors interested in developing more inclusive teaching practices.
